This final project entitled "The Making of an informational Book about Longser" explains about the traditional play from Bandung, West Java. The result of this final project is a book entitled "Longser: A Sundanese Traditional Play"�. The book has five chapters which consist of the authenticity of Longser, the characteristics of Longser, the performance materials of Longser performance, the developed structure of Longser performance and Longser groups in Bandung. The purpose of this final project is to make Longser popular in national and international readers, to contribute in preserving the Sundanese traditional play and to provide the information about Longser in detail. Several theories were used in developing this project, such as theory of informational book, elements of writing, types of writing, types of sentences, the definition of play and traditional play. Three methods used in collecting the data: library study, interview, and observation. There are two writing techniques used in this final project: expository and descriptive writing. The expository writing is used to explain the characteristics of Longser while descriptive writing is used to describe the performance materials of Longser performance.
