This final project is the making of an informational book about traditional dances from West Kalimantan. The aims of making this informational book are to provide information about traditional dances from West Kalimantan to the readers who understand English and foreigners, to inform about the existence of traditional dances from West Kalimantan, and to conserve the traditional dances in the form of writing the information about the dances. In this project, the method used in collecting the data is qualitative research. In the qualitative research, there are several techniques used; they are interview, observation and library study. The interviews were done to collect the main data of this informational book. Besides collecting the data from the interview, observation to a place related to this project was also done to find more information. To support the data that has been collected, the library study was also done by finding some journals about traditional dances from West Kalimantan. After all the information about the dances is collected, the data was going through writing processes which include making an outline, writing the first draft, editing and revising and writing the final draft. In this project, the designing process was also done by using several designing applications. The result of this project is an informational book entitled Dances from West Kalimantan. This book is divided into nine chapters. Hopefully, after producing this book, the readers can get enough information about the traditional dances from West Kalimantan so that more people acknowledge those dances, and finally, those dances can be more popular in the future.
