This final project is "The Making of an Informational Book on Kampung Tenun Garut and the Products"�. This book was developed in order to inform the readers about Kampung Tenun Garut, a village in which most of the people work and produce ikat woven silk cloth, one of Indonesian cultural heritage. This village is not only produce the traditional woven cloth that characterizes Garut, but also preserve the local wisdom that has been developed long time ago. This project was developed by applying qualitative method. The information of the book was collected through observation, interview and library study. Several steps had been carried out to produce this informational book, such as prewriting, writing, revising, editing, designing and printing. The writing techniques applied in writing this book were essay writing techniques namely descriptive, persuasive and procedure writing techniques. To make this book attractive and interesting, each chapter contains pictures. This information in the book is in English so that foreign people can read this book.
