This is a final project entitled The Making of an Informational Book on Karo Batak Marriage. This project is conducted because there is only little information about Karo Batak marriage written in English. The purpose of this final project is to inform Indonesian and foreign readers about Karo Batak marriage customs. The theories used for conducting the project are informational book, culture, Karo Batak, marriage, writing technique, writing style, and book design. Three methods used in collecting the data are library study, observation, and interview. The result of this final project is a book entitled The Traditional Karo Batak Marriage which explains about Karo Batak marriage customs and processions. The book consists of five chapters. Hopefully, this book can be useful for readers who want to know more information about Karo Batak marriage. Keywords: Informational book, Karo Batak, marriage, customs, processions.
