This final project entitled "The Making of an informational Book about The Sacred Ritual of Ngalaksa" explains about the harvest ritual from Rancakalong called Ngalaksa. The result of this final project is a book entitled "The Sacred Ritual of Ngalaksa". The book consists of five chapters, those are: history of Ngalaksa, the structure of the ritual, tarawangsa performance, the organizers of the ritual, and the offering. The purpose of this final project is to introduce Ngalaksa to public, to provide complete information about Ngalaksa, and also to preserve the ritual. Several theories were used in developing this project, such as theory of informational book, cultural heritage, and ritual. Three methods used in collecting the data: library study, interview, and observation. There are two writing techniques used in this final project: expository and descriptive. The expository writing, for example, is used to explain the steps of Ngalaksa ritual; while descriptive writing is used to describe the offering in Ngalaksa ritual.
