This final project is about making of an informational book: "Knowing deeply about fishermen's life in Palabuhan Ratu"�. The purposes are to show the real life of fishermen in Palabuhan Ratu; to give information about "Tempat Pelelangan Ikan" to visitors; and to persuade readers to preserve Labuh Saji ceremony. The qualitative method is used in conducting this final project. The writer is not only collecting the data by doing library study, but also doing field observation and interviewing some parties who has the important role to get more sufficient data. From the observation, it can be seemed that there are two types of fishermen, namely: traditional and modern fishermen, and they have the important role in increasing the economy nearby. Another result is that Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) is an important medium for fishermen and its customers to have purchase process, and the last is that Labuh Saji ceremony is the important ritual held by the fishermen in Palabuhan Ratu which should be preserved as one of Sundanese cultures.
