The making of a cookbook entitled The Wonderful Cuisine World of Makasar is the result of this final project. The book was written to promote Indonesian foods especially from Makasar, to explain people about culinary world in Makasar and also to introduce and to persuade people to cook Makasar foods. The book was made in colorful pages and divided into four chapters. The chapters are the history of Makasar foods, glossary ingredients, the recipes and the tips in cooking Makasar foods. The content of the book is about ten recipes of Makasar foods with pictures. The recipes were collected from original family recipe of Makasar people, moreover, another data was collected from library study, interview, and observation. In writing the book, some theories are used such as, the theory of characteristic of the product, definition of cookbook and cuisine, writing technique and theory about procedural text. In writing a cookbook, it will be good for another author to make a cookbook about Indonesian food from different places specifically. Keywords: cookbook, Makasar foods, cuisine, recipe.
