This project entitled "The Making of an Informational Book on Ratoeh Jaroe: The Traditional Dance from Aceh". This project was conducted in purpose to inform the readers and describe Ratoeh Jaroe in detail. In order to gain this project, the data were obtained by doing library study, field observation and interview two dance experts. The result of this project is an informational book about Ratoeh Jaroe entitled "Captivation beyond Handclaps Dance".� Since the book is categorized into informational book, the theories used to support this project are about writing an informational book theory. The contents of the book are written by using several types of writing such as expository, descriptive, narrative, persuasive, and procedure writing. The project may contribute to the preservation of Indonesia cultural heritage. In addition, it can complete the information about Ratoeh Jaroe in Anjungan Aceh Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
