Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Industri Rumahan Simbiosis Bandung. Fenomena yang terjadi adalah adanya kenaikan harga bahan baku yang berpengaruh pada biaya sesungguhnya lebih besar dari pada biaya standar yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan biaya standar produksi dan upaya untuk menghindari biaya sesungguhnya lebih besar dari pada biaya standar pada Industri Rumahan Simbiosis Bandung. Objek penelitian yang diteliti adalah penerapan biaya standar produksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dimana metode deskriptif untuk mendeskipsikan fakta-fakta pada tahap awal yang dimaksudkan mengemukakan gejala-gejala secara lengkap di dalam aspek yang diselidiki. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam penerapan biaya standar produksi pada Industri Rumahan Simbiosis Bandung telah dilaksanakan dengan baik sesuai prosedur, dimana dalam penerapan biaya standar produksi dibagi dalam tiga bagian yaitu biaya bahan baku standar, biaya tenaga kerja standar, dan biaya overhead pabrik standar.Upaya yang dilakukan Industri Rumahan Simbiosis Bandung untuk mengantisipasi adanya kenaikan harga bahan baku yang berakibat biaya sesungguhnya melebihi biaya standar sudah baik, dimana solusi yang dilakukan tindakan perubahan harga standar ketika adanya kenaikan harga bahan baku, adanya persediaan bahan baku di gudang yang memadai, dan melakukan tinjauan terhadap harga-harga bahan baku untuk mengetahui kenaikan atau penurunan harga-harga bahan baku dipasaran.

The research was conducted in Bandung Home Business Simbiosis. Phenomenon that occurs is the increase in raw material prices which affect the actual cost is greater than the cost of a predetermined standard. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of the standard cost of production and efforts to avoid real cost is greater than the standard cost Home Based Industrial Simbiosis in Bandung. Research object under study is the application of the standard cost of production. The method used in this research is descriptive method, where the descriptive method to describe the facts in the early stages suggests that meant the symptoms fully investigated in the aspect. The results showed that the application of the standard cost of production in Home Business Symbiosis Bandung has perform well according to the procedure, where the application of the standard cost of production is divided into three parts, namely a standard raw material costs, costs of labor standards, and standard factory overhead costs. Efforts made Home Business Simbiosis Bandung to anticipate an increase in raw material prices which result in actual costs exceed standard costs are good, where the solution is carried out when the action changes the standard price of raw material price increases, the supply of raw materials in the warehouse are adequate, and do a review of prices of raw materials to determine the increase or decrease in the prices of raw materials market.
