This final project is about translating texts containing Islamic values which are conveyed in the form of a comic titled 33 Pesan Nabi. It has been translated into 33 Messages of The Prophet Muhammad. The author of the comic tried to deliver hadiths of Bukhori and Muslim in an interesting way. He made the story based on the reality of Muslims in Indonesia. Each chapter is given the hadith to convince the reader. Indeed, by translating this comic, international readers can be attracted to read the values of Islam. Hence, some non-Muslim countries which view Islam in the negative side will know that Islam is not as they thought. Some culture specific terms of Indonesia blended with Javanese are included in the comic. In this translation, two strategies were used. Foreignization strategy was used to translate some culture specific terms and the words containing religious values. The words which were borrowed are explained in the form of footnote to ease the reader in understanding the meaning. Domestication strategy was also used to adjust the expression from the source language into the target language, so the translation seems natural. The translation techniques that mostly used are transposition, discursive creation, borrowing, and amplification. Keywords: translation, comic, Islamic values, 33 Messages of the Prophet Muhammad.
