The final project conducted is translating the contents of the official website of Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya (the Tourism and Culture Office of Tasikmalaya Regency). This project is aimed to support the office in providing information written in English which is published on its official website. The data of this project are classified into qualitative data as they are in the form of texts. Several steps were done when doing this project, started from collecting data, selecting pages to be translated, translating the texts including editing and revising, asking for confirmation of the content to the web administrator, writing the final draft of the translation results, and copying the results onto CD (Compact Disk). Several theories have been referred to when producing the English version such as translation methods of Newmark (1988), translation techniques of Molina & Albir (2002) and theories writing style for web of Monash University (2015), Lorber (2014) and IT Services of University of Bristol (2015). The results of this project are the English version of 24 titles of texts published on the website. Hopefully the translation results can be really published by the office, so it can participate in promoting tourism of Indonesia internationally; also it can be helpful for further similar projects and be useful as an input for developing syllabus related to Translation and Writing subjects in the English Department POLBAN.
