Ringkasan
Perancangan tata letak fasilitas merupakan hal yang penting dalam proses produksi,
dimana harus dapat memadukan antara aktivitas material dari proses bahan baku maupun
bahan setengah jadi hingga proses akhir, mesin dan peralatan yang dibutuhkan, cara
pemindahan material dari satu proses ke proses yang lain yang menyangkut proses
produksi di lantai produksi sehingga akan tercipta lalu lintas di lantai produksi yang tepat,
baik dan benar.
Layout pabrik merupakan integrasi total dari seluruh elemen produksi yang menjadi satu
unit operasi yang besar. Desain layout pabrik dibuat sebaik mungkin untuk menghindari
adanya gerakan balik, gerakan memotong, dan kemacetan. Sehingga material bisa terus
bergerak tanpa perlu ada hambatan.
Pada lantai produksi PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa khususnya departement unit CTVT
telah terjadi kesimpangsiuran aliran hal ini disebabkan area pabrik yang sangat terbatas,
sehingga sering terjadinya penumpukan barang jadi dari departement produksi trafo di
halaman pabrik tanpa memperhitungkan ruang untuk material yang keluar dan masuk
mesin, serta allowance transfortasi pada departement unit produksi CTVT. Dengan
demikian perlu pembangunan untuk pabrik baru khusus untuk departement CTVT.
Pada penelitian menghasilkan desain layout usulan untuk departement unit produksi
CTVT pada pabrik baru dengan perubahan tata letak dan luas lantai departement yang di
tambahkan Allowance dan toleransi sesuai luas yang dibutuhkan. Perubahan tata letak
layout pada pabrik baru dapat merubah ongkos material handling sebelum dilakukan
perpindahan pabrik yaitu menghasilkan ongkos yang lebih minimum disebabkan jarak
aliran material antar departement menjadi dekat dan berubah alat angkut material yang
digunakan.
Ringkasan Alternatif
Design of facility layout is important in the production process, in which production
should be combined between the material activities of the process raw materials and
intermediate materials until the process end, machinery and equipment required, how to
transfer material from one process to others who involves the production process on the
production floor so that it will generate traffic on the production floor right, good and
true.
Plant layout is the total integration of all production elements into one large operating
units. Factory layout design was made as possible to avoid any turning movement, the
movement of cut, and congestion. So that materials can keep moving without obstacle.
On the production floor PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa particular department CTVT unit
mix-flow has occurred this is due to a very limited area of the factory, so it is often the
accumulation of finished goods from the production department of a transformer in the
factory yard without considering the space for the material in and out of the machine,
and the department units allowance transfortasi CTVT production. Thus necessary for
the construction of a new plant specifically for the department CTVT.
In producing research proposals to design the layout of production units CTVT
department at a new factory with the layout and floor area in the department of
Allowance and add the appropriate area of the required tolerance. Change the layout of
the new factory layout can change the material handling costs prior to the transfer of
factories that produce the minimum cost more due to the distance between the material
flow into a nearby department and changing the material used conveyances.
