Writing a cookbook with title The Creation of Tempeh Dishes is the result of this final project as one of the requirements for completing the Diploma III in English Department, Politeknik Negeri Bandung. The cookbook were written to produce a media to promote Indonesian food especially tempeh dishes to readers. Also, to introduce the various recipes of tempeh dishes, to provide information to the readers in case they want to cook foods and to give more knowledge about tempeh. The colorful design is made in this book in order to make the reader does not feel bored when they read this cookbook. The content of the book is divided into several parts they are the information about tempeh, the process of making tempeh, tips in choosing good tempeh, the tempeh yeast, the 15 recipes made from tempeh. In conducting this project, several data is collected from some sources that are library study, interview, and observation. Besides that, some theories are also used, for example theory of writing techniques, the theory of characteristic of product, the theory of cookbook definition, and last is the theory of writing styles.
