The final project is about writing a travel book about Labuan Bajo and the surrounding islands. The purpose of this project is to make a travel book in order to introduce and persuade the readers to visit Labuan Bajo in Flores, and to entertain the readers by sharing the personal experience in travelling to and exploring Labuan Bajo and the surrounding islands. The theories used in conducting the project were subject, purpose, and audience (SPA), definition of travel writing, elements of travel writing, writing techniques and writing styles. The data were collected by library study, observation to Labuan Bajo and the surrounding islands, and interview. There are 11 places that were visited. Labuan Bajo, Kelor Island, Manjarite Island, Rinca Island, Kalong Island, Padar Island, Pink Beach, Manta Point, Taka Makassar, Gili Lawa, and Kanawa Island. These collected data were selected and processed through writing the draft, editing, revising, writing the final draft, designing, proofreading, and printing. The result of the project is a travel book entitled Exploring Labuan Bajo and the Surrounding Islands. The book consists of nine chapters. It is hoped that the book can be informative and entertaining and can also give benefits especially increasing the interest of people to visit Labuan Bajo and the surrounding islands.
